Making jewelry that evokes a strong sense of style is what drives Sasa, a sunny Californian with great tenacity and a true commitment to her craft. “I’m doing exactly what I want to do. For me, there is great joy in playing with beautiful stones and in creating a statement of art that is worn,” she says.
Sasa's bold use of colored stones and her clean-lined designs make the work stand out, even from other renowned lines of fine jewelry. "I gravitate towards using rare, unusual stones, and then I like to make them the focal point of the design. I don't shy away from using very rare gem materials, while other artists might reject them as being too soft or unreliable," she says.
Over the next several years, Sasa intends to keep growing as a jeweler, and she plans to work in ever finer materials, including more exquisite, rare stones. Sasa plans to present her work through new retail outlets throughout the United States and so that more women will discover the beauty and wearability of her innovative designs.
